About Chris Cameron
Attorney at Law Serving the Tri-Cities and All of Northeast Tennessee
Chris has lived his entire life in the shadows of East Tennessee’s mountains. He understands the values of the people of our region. Chris graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School, where he was a member of the Indian football and baseball teams. From D-B he went to Carson-Newman, where he was a member of the baseball team. He graduated summa cum laude from Carson-Newman with a major in political science. Chris is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law. At UT he was a member of the Advocacy Clinic, where he worked to help people in financial need who were struggling with legal issues.
After graduating from law school Chris returned to Kingsport to practice law. When Chris first came back to Kingsport, he worked with two of our area’s most historic firms where he focused on medical malpractice and personal injury cases, first for the defense and then for the people. He then decided to leave behind the security of working for large law firms and follow his dream of helping the people of our region by opening his own law practice. Chris has been preparing his whole life to help the people of our region with their legal problems. Since he started practicing law in 2012, Chris has represented people in a number of Tennessee State Courts and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Chris is active in the Kingsport community. He has been on the Advisory Board of the SHOUT program for young people in our city as well as the Board of the Kingsport Boys’ Club. As an active member of Kingsport’s First Baptist Church, he has participated in mission trips, building Habitat for Humanity houses and coaching Upward Basketball.
